History
PRO-ACTIVE S.r.l. was founded in February 2004 by Mr. Giuseppe Dall’Ara, a businessman in the medical field for more than 40 years. Giuseppe decided to create PRO-ACTIVE when contextually agreed with the other two owners to sell Plasti Medical, the company he founded earlier in 1973, to the multinational corporation Alaris/Cardinal Health. He led PRO-ACTIVE until 2016.
Evolution
In 2017 the ownership of PRO-ACTIVE S.r.l. changed Nord Tecnica S.r.l obtained the controlling stake of the company. Nord Tecnica S.r.l. operates in the Italian medical field for more than 25 years directly or through holdings in other companies, selling reusable medical devices utilized in an operating theatre or central sterile services department. PRO-ACTIVE S.r.l., with its know-how and its experience in the disposable medical devices field, strategically completes this group that becomes a reference point at 360° for medical devices in Italy and abroad.
Present
PRO-ACTIVE S.r.l. today is a consolidated, dynamic and constantly growing company. It exports to 45 countries around the world, selling disposable medical devices under its own brand or brand of third parties sourcing from selected and qualified suppliers and outsourcers over the years and diversified for each type of product. In addition to abroad and in Italy through institutional channels, PRO-ACTIVE also addresses the internal market of laboratories, professional studios and small clinics through the portal ProDOCtive.it that provides a full range of medical devices delivered in a reasonably short time but at prices usually reserved for market players with high consumption.
